orientation 2005

wow.
it's been 5 real long days.
with less than 5 hours of sleep each day.
and many hours of physical & mental turmoil.
God has been wonderful.
so wonderful.
He stopped the rain during games.
and only let it rain before and after games.
he held back the rain after campfire.
and only let it drizzle after it ended.
amazing.
orientation allowed me to get to know lots of people better.
and allowed me to work with different kinds of people.
my everday of orientation was similar to each other.
running around preparing starch, walking around with inez checking on the stations, getting dunked by everyone, cleaning up, washing and washing and washing, stonning, making sure logistics was ok, having debrief, dancing, packing the room...
yeah.
but i remember my first OG time.
monday. 030105.
i met my og.
got to know them better.
real quiet bunch.
played bang bang! they opened up a little more.

ran off to prepare games.
didn't spend much time with them.
i only remember those few "OG time" i had with them.
the time when we played truth or dare for like an our and a half!
amazing!
and we had so much fun!
i can't believe haryati jumped onto the lorry!
haha it was so funny.
and when we went to clarence's place.
rach and i had girl talk with darroch.
hee. so funny.
big guy with a small gentle heart.
heehee. (:
yeah.
i felt quite bad.
i didn't spend enough time with them.
and i didn't even get them anything.
but yet, they so lovingly gave me something.
it's not about the nice greaan cow stuff they got me.
but it's really, seeing them bond and gel, having fun,
the pretty smiles on their faces,
that made me real happy.
